Sometimes a fresh start is right. Maybe you applied a recalibration you no longer agree with, or your life has changed.
The Reset Defaults button on the Risk Model screen sends your gauge thresholds and decay curves back to their starting values. Your spins and logs are not touched.
These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
What thresholds are
Thresholds decide which colour your risk gauge shows:
- None is locked at 0.
- Low starts at 3 by default (green).
- Mild starts at 5 by default (amber).
- High starts at 10 by default (red).
Decay curves set how quickly the risk from a past trigger fades over the next days. There is one for High, Mild and Low triggers, each with day-by-day values from today back six days.
Opening the Risk Model screen
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the screen.
- Tap Risk Model.
You will see Gauge thresholds at the top and Decay Curves below.
Resetting
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Reset Defaults.
- The numbers and bars change back to the starting values on screen. Nothing is saved yet.
- If you are happy, tap Save.
- A message confirms it was saved and your risk is being recomputed.
If you tapped Reset Defaults by mistake, go back without tapping Save. Your old values stay in place.
What is not reset
- Your spins and every other log.
- Your triggers, prodromes, medicines, reliefs and other lists.
- Your profile, AI Profile and AI companions.
- Your connections, Monitor cards and language.
- Your menstruation risk curves, which have their own Reset Defaults on the Menstruation screen.
Changing one number instead
To change a single value, tap a threshold or a bar on the Risk Model screen, type a new value and tap Save.
After a reset, the weekly check may suggest new adjustments again as it learns from your data.
