Nothing in VertigoMe is set in stone. You can come back hours, days or weeks later and change anything in a spin.
These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
When you might want to
- You saved a spin while it was still going, and now you want to add when it ended.
- You remembered another medicine, or a warning sign that morning.
- You picked the wrong day or time.
- You want to add a note after seeing your ENT or neurologist.
- You ticked something by accident.
The quick way to end an open spin
While a spin is still open, the Home screen shows a Spin in progress card with the time it started. Tap End now on that card. The same card has round buttons for adding items while it is running, and a Full log button that opens the full spin log.
Finding the spin
- Tap the Journal tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Your entries are listed with the most recent at the top. You can use the search box and the time filters to narrow the list.
- On the spin you want, tap the small ⋯ menu.
- Tap Edit.
What happens when you tap Edit
The spin opens in the same step-by-step log you used to create it, with everything already filled in. Move between pages with Next and the back label at the top. Change whatever you like.
To change the times, use the Start and End (optional) rows on the Timing page. Times in the future are not allowed.
Adding a single item quickly
If you only want to add one thing, you do not need the full log:
- On the spin in the Journal, tap + Add.
- Choose what to add: for example a spin or headache entry, aura, a symptom, a medicine, a relief, a postdrome, a trigger, a prodrome, an activity, a missed activity or a location.
- Fill in the small screen that opens and save. The item is attached to that spin.
Saving your changes
- Tap Next until you reach the Review page.
- Tap Update spin log.
If you leave the log with the × before that, your changes are not kept.
Deleting a spin
- Tap the Journal tab.
- Tap the ⋯ menu on the spin.
- Tap Delete.
- A box asks Delete entry? and warns that it cannot be undone. Tap Delete.
If you delete the wrong one, you will need to log it again.
Why it is safe to edit
Editing simply updates the entry. Your insights and risk score adjust to match. Correcting yourself days later does no harm.
