If you use VertigoMe on your iPhone and wear an Apple Watch, setup is quick. There is no separate sign-in on the watch and no code to type. The watch picks up your sign-in from VertigoMe on your iPhone.
Before you start
- An iPhone with VertigoMe installed and signed in.
- An Apple Watch paired with that iPhone.
- Both switched on and close together.
On iPhone
The watch app is installed from the Watch app on your iPhone.
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone (it comes with every iPhone).
- Scroll down to the list of apps under Available Apps or Installed on Apple Watch.
- Find VertigoMe.
- If you see Install next to it, tap it. This can take a minute or two.
- If VertigoMe is already under Installed on Apple Watch, you are done.
On the watch
- Press the Digital Crown to see your apps.
- Tap VertigoMe.
- You should see your spin risk gauge straight away.
If the watch says "Syncing with iPhone"
The watch is waiting for your sign-in from the phone. Open VertigoMe on your iPhone for a moment, then tap Retry on the watch. See What to do when the watch shows Syncing with iPhone or Pair.
Next steps
- What you can log from your watch explains the quick-log buttons.
- Using the watch complications on Apple Watch shows how to put your risk, or a one-tap spin button, on your watch face.
