If you only get a spin now and then, tracking may still be worth it. With months between spins, it is hard to remember what came before the last one. The app remembers for you.
Why it helps
When the next spin comes, you can look back at what happened before it: sleep, salt, weather, stress, a cold, a change of position. Over time, even a handful of spins can show a pattern you would not spot from memory.
A light routine is fine
- Log every spin when it happens. Use the full entry so each one is captured well.
- Add a note about the day or two before. What did you eat? How did you sleep? Were you ill?
- Open the app now and then so it keeps your weather and other data ticking along.
What to record
- When it started and how long it lasted.
- How strong it was.
- The position you were in when it started. This matters for BPPV.
- What you took, if anything, and what helped.
- Anything unusual in the last two days.
How to log a full spin
The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
- Open the Log tab.
- Tap Log Spin.
- Set the start time on the Timing step.
- Work through the steps. Every step is optional.
- Write about the days before on the Notes step.
- Tap Save spin log on the Review step.
If you cannot face it during the spin, tap Spin on the Home screen to start the timer, and fill in the rest later.
Looking back
Your spins are in the Journal tab. The Calendar view there helps you see when they happened.
On the free plan the Journal shows your last 7 days. Older spins are kept safely, and the full history with search and filters is part of Premium. The Full Report on the Insights tab, also Premium, puts your whole history in one PDF for your ENT or neurologist.
Do you need a wearable?
Not for this. The most useful thing is a good record of each spin.
