What the risk gauge colours mean

On Home, the gauge shows a number and, under it, a coloured word. The word is the quick read. You do not need to remember any numbers.

The four levels

  1. Negligible (grey). Nothing much is adding to your risk today.
  2. Low (green). A quiet day. Carry on as normal.
  3. Mild (amber). Worth a little attention. Keep to your usual meals and bedtime, and go easy on things you know set you off.
  4. High (red). Your bucket is close to full. If you can, rest, avoid adding triggers, and keep your usual medicine and a safe place to sit or lie down nearby.

Where the lines come from

The lines between levels are your own thresholds. They start from your AI setup or sensible defaults, and the weekly recalibration can suggest moving them so that "High" reflects what a risky day looks like for you. You can see and change them under Risk Model in the Settings menu (gear icon at the top left).

Where to see more detail

  1. Tap the gauge.
  2. The Risk detail screen lists everything pushing your score up, plus today and the next six days.

Risk detail and the future days are part of Premium. Today's score and colour are always free.

A note on red days

A red day is not a prediction that you will have a spin. It means today looks busier for your body than usual. Many red days pass without a spin. And a green day can still bring one, especially with position-triggered spins like BPPV. Please trust how you feel first, and the colour second.

Getting an alert

If you would like a notification when your risk reaches a certain level, open Data and Notifications in the Settings menu and set Daily risk alerts to Low, Mild or High.
