On iPhone, VertigoMe can also save two things back to Apple Health, so they sit alongside the rest of your health record.
Spins, saved as Dizziness
Each spin you finish in VertigoMe is saved to Apple Health as the Dizziness symptom, with its start and end time. Spins that are still going are saved once you end them. If you edit or delete a spin in VertigoMe, the Apple Health entry is updated or removed too. VertigoMe keeps the last year of spins in step.
To see them, open the Health app, tap Browse, then Symptoms, then Dizziness.
Periods you log in VertigoMe
Periods you log yourself in VertigoMe (Monitor tab, Menstruation card, Log a Period) are saved to Apple Health as menstrual flow. Predicted periods are never saved, and periods that came from Apple Health in the first place are not written back.
How to turn this on or off
These two are part of the same Apple permission sheet you see when you connect Apple Health under the gear icon, Connections. To change them later:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Apps, Health, Data Access & Devices, then VertigoMe.
- Under the write section, switch Dizziness or Menstrual Flow on or off.
On Android
Health Connect has no dizziness type, so on Android VertigoMe does not write anything to Health Connect.
VertigoMe never writes sleep, heart, food or any other data to Apple Health.
