Your symptom list holds everything that describes a spin: the kinds of spin (such as room spinning or rocking), the position you were in when it started, accompanying symptoms (such as nausea or ear fullness) and after-effects. You can add the ones that match you and remove the ones that do not.
In VertigoMe this list is called Spins.
These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
Opening the list
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the screen.
- Tap Manage Items.
- Tap Spins at the top.
The Manage Spins screen opens, grouped into category cards. You will find cards for the kinds of spin, the starting positions, accompanying symptoms (such as aural, visual or cognitive ones) and postdrome after-effects.
Where each item shows up when you log a spin:
- Kinds of spin appear on the Spin page under How did it feel?
- Starting positions appear on the Symptoms page under Position when it started.
- Postdrome items appear on the Postdrome page.
- Everything else appears on the Symptoms page under Accompanying experience.
Adding an item
- Tap the + on the header of the card where it belongs. For example, to add a new kind of spin, use the + on the spin character card.
- Type a Name, check the Category, and pick an icon if you like.
- Tap Add.
Renaming an item
You cannot edit a name directly. Add the new one, then remove the old one. Past spins keep what was logged.
Removing an item
- Tap the trash icon on its row.
- Tap Delete in the box that asks Remove item?
If you remove the wrong one
Add it again with the same name.
A note
Common symptoms are already in your list from the start. Most people only add one or two personal ones.
