Picking the source for each metric

If you use more than one device, for example your phone and an Oura ring, VertigoMe may be able to get the same kind of data from both. You can choose which one each metric uses.

You do not have to do this. VertigoMe picks a sensible default.

These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.

Finding a metric with a source picker

  1. Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the screen.
  2. Tap Data and Notifications.
  3. Find the metric row you care about, for example inside Sleep.
  4. Under the metric's name there is a small coloured badge showing its current source, such as Phone, Oura, Garmin, Polar, WHOOP, Health Connect (Android) or HealthKit (iPhone).
  5. If the badge has a small arrow next to it, you can change it. Tap the badge.

Picking the source

  1. A Choose source list opens with every source that can supply this metric.
  2. Tap the one you want.
  3. The badge updates. New readings come from that source.

Can I use two sources at once?

No. Each metric uses one source. Switching changes where new readings come from. Readings already saved stay as they are.

Pick the device you wear most reliably for each metric.

If there is no arrow

  1. The metric may only have one possible source right now.
  2. Check your device is connected: gear icon, Connections, and look for Connected on its card.
  3. Not every device measures every metric.
