VertigoMe does not send news or adverts. Every notification is about your own tracking, and most have their own setting on the Notifications card under the gear icon, Data and Notifications. This article lists them.
The evening reminder
At 8 pm your local time, VertigoMe sends one reminder, "How was today?" with "Take 15 seconds to log your day." Tap it to open the Daily Check-In. If you skip it, nothing happens. It comes again tomorrow.
Daily risk alerts
When your risk for the day reaches the level you chose, you get a short alert such as "Today's risk: Mild". If it climbs higher later that day, you may get one more ("Risk just went up"). Under Daily risk alerts, choose Off, Low, Mild or High. Mild is set when you first allow notifications.
Ongoing spin reminder
If you logged a spin but never marked it as ended, the app asks "Is your spin over?" until you close it. Choose how often (every 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days) or Off. It stops after three unanswered reminders and never sends late at night.
Trigger alerts
Off for every trigger until you turn them on. In Manage Items, each trigger has a bell. Ring it, keep the Trigger alerts switch on, and you are told when that trigger fires for the day. For weather-based triggers you may also get a heads-up when the forecast shows one coming.
Recommendation alerts
A morning notification when new recommendations are ready.
Daily exercise reminder
A nudge to do your vestibular exercises, at 08:00, 13:00 or 19:00.
Questionnaire reminder
A reminder to retake the DHI, VSS-SF and hearing questionnaires every month, 2 months or 3 months. Questionnaires are Premium, and so is this reminder.
Recalibration
From time to time VertigoMe checks whether your data suggests changes to your trigger settings. When it does, you may get a notification and a banner appears on Home. Tap either to review the suggestions.
Device check-ins
If you log a neuromodulation device session, the app asks two hours later how it went.
Community and AI companions
You may be told when someone replies to you in the community. AI companion covers comments from AI companions you follow.
Goals
If you use goals, the Goals card under Data and Notifications has its own reminder settings.
Your free trial
Two heads-ups if you are on the free trial: about three days before it ends, and on the last day.
