The evening reminder arrives at 8 pm to nudge you to log your day. If you would rather not have it, this is how it works in VertigoMe.
The Evening check-in switch
On the Notifications card (gear icon, Data and Notifications), the Evening check-in switch follows your phone's notification permission for VertigoMe. It has no separate setting of its own.
Switching it off opens your phone's settings, where you turn off notifications for VertigoMe. That stops the evening reminder and all other VertigoMe notifications too.
On iPhone
Settings, Notifications, VertigoMe, switch off Allow Notifications.
On Android
Settings, Apps, VertigoMe, Notifications, switch off Show notifications.
If you want to keep the other notifications
There is no way to silence only the evening reminder inside VertigoMe. If you want risk alerts or the exercise reminder but not the 8 pm nudge, you can use your phone's Do Not Disturb or Focus schedule around that time instead.
What you keep
- The Daily Check-In still exists. Open it whenever you like from the Log tab.
- Your logging, Insights and risk gauge carry on as normal.
- Your data is untouched.
Doing the check-in without the reminder
- Open VertigoMe in the evening.
- Tap the Log tab.
- Tap Daily Check-In ("Review your day").
- Go through the pages you want and tap Save.
