Your phone's own notification permission is the master switch. If VertigoMe is not allowed to notify you at that level, nothing inside the app can bring notifications back.
Inside VertigoMe
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left and tap Data and Notifications.
- Find the Notifications card.
- If the Notification permission row shows Allow, tap it and allow notifications when your phone asks. If it shows Open Settings, your phone needs the change made in its settings (see below).
The Evening check-in switch follows that permission. Switching it on asks for permission, or opens your phone's settings if you said no before. Switching it off also opens your phone's settings, because that is where notifications are turned off.
The other rows (risk alerts, trigger alerts, recommendation alerts and so on) can only be changed while notifications are allowed.
On iPhone
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Notifications.
- Scroll to VertigoMe and tap it.
- Switch Allow Notifications on (green) or off (grey).
- Below, you can choose Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners. Most people leave all three on.
On Android
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps (or Apps and notifications), then See all apps if shown.
- Tap VertigoMe, then Notifications.
- Switch Show notifications or Allow notifications on or off.
Turning them off does not delete anything
Your data stays exactly where it is. You simply stop being reminded. You can open the app and check Home, Journal and Insights whenever you like.
