What the Sleep card on Monitor shows you

The Sleep card is a short summary of last night. It is there to help you spot patterns over time, not to grade your sleep.

Finding it

  1. Tap the Monitor tab.
  2. Scroll to the Sleep card.

What it shows by default

  1. Sleep duration, how long you were asleep.
  2. Fell asleep, the time you fell asleep.
  3. Woke up, the time you woke.

Tap the card to open the Sleep screen. There you can see All Metrics (efficiency, stages, disturbances and more), choose which three show on the card with Customize Sleep, and, with Premium, see the history graph over 2, 7, 14 or 30 days.

What a normal night looks like

There is no single right answer. What VertigoMe cares about is your own usual pattern. A night much shorter than your normal, or a bedtime much later than usual, is what can fire a sleep trigger.

If the card is empty

  1. Your sleep has not synced yet. It can take an hour or two after you wake. Check again later.
  2. Nothing tracked your sleep. Without a wearable or phone estimate there is nothing to read. On Android, phone-based sleep can be chosen as the source in the Sleep section of Data and Notifications.
  3. The connection is off. Check Connections in the menu for Apple Health, Health Connect or your wearable.

Refreshing

On iPhone, pull down on the Monitor screen. On Android, switch to another tab and back.

Turning sleep off

Tap the gear icon, then Data and Notifications, open Sleep and switch off the metrics you do not want.
