Reviewing the triggers VertigoMe can detect for you

This article shows you where to find your full list of triggers and what each row means. It is about what VertigoMe is set up to detect. To see what actually fired on a given day, open the Journal tab instead.

Opening the list

The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.

  1. Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the screen.
  2. Tap Manage Items.
  3. Tap Triggers.

Your triggers are grouped into category cards, such as Body, Cognitive, Diet, Environment, Physical, Sensory and Sleep. Each card shows how many triggers it holds. Tap a card's header to open it. The search box at the top jumps to a name. Some related triggers are grouped into one row, which shows how many metrics it covers. Tap the group to see its members.

Reading each row

Each row shows:

  1. The name, with its icon. For example Sodium high.
  2. A coloured prediction badge (Low, Mild or High) if you have given it a weight.
  3. For automatic triggers, a small bell. This is the alert switch, off by default. With it on, you get a notification when that trigger fires for the day.
  4. A star for favourites, and a trash icon to remove it.

Tap a row to open it. Inside you will find:

  1. Prediction: chips to set its weight (None, Low, Mild, High).
  2. Category: where it is filed.
  3. For automatic triggers, an Auto-detect switch, and below it the threshold line: Fires above or Fires below, with the number and unit.

What to look for

Saving changes

Star, bell and delete changes apply straight away. Changes to prediction, category, auto-detect and thresholds are saved together when you tap Save & Recalculate at the bottom. This also recalculates your risk score. A ✓ Saved badge confirms it.

If the list is empty or does not load

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Close VertigoMe fully and open it again.

If it still does not load, email help@vertigome.com.
