Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication, or "2FA", is an extra check when you sign in: after your password you enter a short code from your phone.

The short answer

VertigoMe does not have its own two-factor authentication.

Your account is protected by how you signed in:

What you can do

Use a strong, unique password

If you use email and password, make it long and do not use it anywhere else. See Changing your password.

Turn on 2FA where VertigoMe relies on it

If you sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook, turn on two-factor authentication in that account. It then protects your VertigoMe account too.

Apple ID: Settings app → your name → Sign-In & Security → Two-Factor Authentication.

Google account: go to myaccount.google.com → Security → 2-Step Verification.

Protect your email

Anyone who can read your email can reset your password. Turning on 2FA for your email account is a strong step.

If you think someone got into your account

If you see spins you did not log, or your name changed:

  1. Change your password straight away.
  2. Email help@vertigome.com so we can help secure the account.
