How to log what you were doing

What you were doing can be useful information. Driving, scrolling on your phone, working at a screen, exercising, cooking or a vestibular rehab session all count. Over time the app can see whether some activities come up more often around your spins.

These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.

From the Log tab

  1. Tap the Log tab.
  2. In Quick Log, find the bottom card split in two: Activity (What you did) and Missed (What you didn't).
  3. Tap the Activity half. A screen titled Quick Activity opens.
  4. Under Which one?, tap the activity. Favourites come first.
  5. Under When did this happen? the time is now. Tap to change.
  6. Add a note if you like.
  7. Tap Log Activity.

As part of a spin

In the full Log Spin guide, the Activities step (What were you doing? Multi-select.) lets you pick everything you were doing around the spin, each with its own time.

If your activity is not in the list

Tap the gear icon, then Manage Items, then Activities, and add it.

What happens after you save

The activity appears in the Journal tab. Insights uses activities to look for links with your spins.

If you had to skip something

That is a missed activity. See How to log a missed activity.
