What happens when your trial ends

The 14-day trial is free. When it ends, nothing alarming happens.

The short answer

  1. You get a push about three days before ("3 days left of your free trial") and another on the last day. If a push cannot reach you on the last day, we send an email instead.
  2. Premium turns off and the app goes back to the free version. The first time you open it afterwards, a screen titled Your free trial just ended appears once. Close it with the X and carry on.
  3. You are not charged. No payment method was needed for the trial.
  4. Nothing is deleted.

What you will notice

What stays the same

Subscribing later

You can subscribe at any time. There is no deadline.

  1. Tap the gear icon at the top left, then Profile.
  2. On the card under your name, which now says Free Plan, tap Upgrade.
  3. Tap Monthly or Yearly.
  4. Confirm with Apple (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

Premium turns back on straight away. The first charge also happens straight away, because subscribing is a purchase, not another trial.

If you see a charge after the trial

The trial cannot charge you, because no card was used. If you see a charge, you subscribed at some point. See Why was I charged? for how to check.

If Premium did not turn off

  1. Close the app fully and open it again.
  2. Pull down on the Home screen to refresh.
  3. Check the card on the Profile screen. If it says Premium, a subscription or a promo code is active.

If Premium is on by mistake, keep using it and let us know at help@vertigome.com. We will not penalise you.

Coming back to Premium later does not give you a second free trial, but all your old data is still there.
